Asif Mahmud Bhuiyan, the interim government’s youth and sports adviser, said that no one will come to create a rift in the unity of the people on the issue of banning the Awami League by raising concerns that the election will be postponed and uncertainty will arise.

He wrote these words in a post from his Facebook ID today, Friday (March 21). He also said in the post that there is no uncertainty about the election.

In the Facebook post, Asif Mahmud Bhuiyan wrote, ‘Honorable Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has clearly and repeatedly said that the election will be held between December and February.

I want to assure you that the government will keep this promise. So there is no uncertainty about the election.’

He also wrote, ‘Awami League is recognized as a genocidal party not only nationally but also internationally through the UN report. Long live the unity of the people.

Earlier today, in another post, Advisor Asif wrote, “Since when did we become more inclusively democratic than Germany and Italy? The desire to bring back the Awami League without even turning a year after the genocide is dangerous.”
