DB launching ‘all-out action’ against criminal gangs

To combat lawlessness, the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police is initiating ‘all-out action’ against identified criminal gangs across different areas of the city. Several teams of the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police have already started their operations.
Additional Police Commissioner (DB) Rezaul Karim Mallick confirmed this to the media on Tuesday (March 11).
He said, “The DB is currently playing a key role in maintaining law and order. We are going for ‘all-out action’ against identified criminal gangs in different areas of the city.”
“DB is adopting a ‘zero tolerance’ policy for all types of crime and criminals,” he added.
